Airtel added 4.75 lakh mobile users, Vi 1.61 mn and Jio 12.9 mn lose subscribers: Trai Data

Recently Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the latest subscriber numbers of telecom companies.

According to TRAI’s recent data release, in the month of December 2021, Reliance Jio lost approximately 1.29 crore wireless subscribers. In the same period, Bharti Airtel gained 4.75 lakh subscribers and Vodafone Idea lost 16.14 lakh subscribers.

Vodafone Idea has consistently lost customers whereas Airtel has consistently added customers in all the months except October 2021.

Reliance Jio has consistently added customers in all the months except the months of September 2021 and December 2021. But in both these months, Jio has lost a lot of subscribers.
