Now you can download your PAN card online whenever you want like an Aadhar card. So in this article, you will know the complete process of downloading all new and old E pan cards.
Your PAN card will be downloaded from the same portal as if your PAN card is generated from NSDL then it will be downloaded from the NSDL portal itself.
If your PAN card is generated from the UTI portal then it will be downloaded from the UTI portal and if your PAN card is generated from the Income Tax website then it will be downloaded from the Income Tax website itself.
To check from which portal your PAN card is made so you have to see the backside of your PAN card, it is written on it from which portal your PAN card has been made.

How to download NSDL pan card – E pan card download
If your PAN card is generated from the NSDL portal then you have to visit the NSDL website (NSDL e-pan card download).
Step 1: In this, you will enter your PAN card number, enter your Aadhar card number and select your date of birth. After that give the consent below and fill the CAPTCHA. After that click on submit.
Step 2: You will select OTP whether you want on email ID, mobile number, or both. After that give consent and click on generate OTP.
Step 3: OTP will be sent on both your mobile number and email id. After that enter OTP and click on Validate.
Step 4: In this, you will get two options, you can download your PAN card in PDF or XML.
For example, if you want to download in PDF then you will click on “Download e-pan PDF”. Your PAN card will be downloaded, if you open it, then you will have to enter the password. Your date of birth is your password.
So in this way, your digital PAN card will be downloaded, you can use it anywhere, it is completely valid.
If you have got your new PAN card made in the last 30 days or have made any correction in it, then you can download your PAN card in this way for free. But if your PAN card is old then you will have to pay 8.26 rupees to download your PAN card.

Step 1: For this also you will enter your PAN card number, enter the Aadhar card number, select your date of birth. After this, consent will be given and the CAPTCHA will be filled. After that submit.
Step 2: After this, you will select whether you want OTP on email, mobile, or both. After that give consent and click on generate OTP.
Step 3: OTP will be sent on both your mobile number and email id. Enter OTP and click on Validate.
Step 4: In this way, a page will appear in front of you that your free e-pan card download limit is over, now you have to make payment then you will continue.
Step 5: You have to pay 8.26 rupees. Accept the terms, click on proceed to payment and you can make the payment using your Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
Step 6: Your payment will be successful and continue.
Step 7: After this click on “Generate and print payment receipt”.
A payment receipt will be generated which can be downloaded and you will click on “Download e-pan” to download your PAN card.
Step 8: In this, you will get both the options, you can download in XML or PDF. For example, if you want to download in PDF, then click on “Download e-pan PDF”.
Step 9: The PAN card will be downloaded after that you will enter the password “your date of birth” and in this way, your PAN card will be downloaded which you can use.
How to UTI pan card download – E pan card download
If your PAN card is made from UTI then you have to come to UTI portal (UTI e-pan card download).
Step 1: To download your PAN card, you will enter the PAN card number, enter your date of birth, fill in the CAPTCHA and submit.
Step 2: Which mobile number and email id are linked with your PAN card will come on your screen, fill the CAPTCHA and submit.
Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter OTP and click on submit.
Step 4: If your PAN card is old then you will be redirected to the payment gateway from where you will have to pay Rs 8.26. Enter the mobile number and email id, select the payment gate and then click on “Confirm Payment”.
Step 5: From here you can make payment through your Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, and UPI.
After the payment is successful and your PAN card will be sent to your email id, from there you can download it.

e-PAN Card Download Using Income Tax E-filing Website
Similarly, if you have made a PAN card from the Income Tax website, then you can download it from the Income Tax website itself.
Step 1: Visit the official income tax e-filing website (Income Tax Pan card Download).
Step 2: Continue by entering the Aadhar card number.
Step 3: You will get an OTP, submit it by entering OTP, then you will get the option to download PAN card and from where you can download PAN card.
So in this way you can download your PAN card whenever you want.
