India’s largest private lender HDFC Bank on Saturday announced the results of Q2 FY2022-23. HDFC Bank’s net profit grew by 20% to Rs 10605.78 crore in Q2 of FY 2022-23 from Rs 8834.31 crore in Q2 of FY 2021-22.

HDFC Bank’s net revenue grew by 18.3% to Rs 28,869.8 crore in Q2 of FY2022-23 as against Rs 24,409.7 crore in Q2 of FY2021-22. HDFC Bank has a banking network of 6,378 branches across 3,203 cities. Read Also: HDFC credit card apply online – Step by Step | How to Pay HDFC Credit Card Bill
HDFC Bank’s total income increased to Rs 46181.96 crore in Q2 of FY 2022-23 from Rs 38754.16 crore in the same period last year. The total income of the bank was Rs 41560.27 crore in the previous quarter (Q1 of FY 2022-23).
Income from Operations of HDFC Bank increased to Rs 46181.96 crores in Quarter 2 of FY 2022-23 as compared to Rs 41560.27 crores in the previous quarter (Quarter 1 of FY 2022-23). The income from operations of the bank in the quarter 2 of the financial year 2021-22 was Rs 38764.16 crore.
Net Interest Income (NII) grew by 18.9% to Rs 21021.2 crore in Q2 of FY 2022-23 as against Rs 17684.4 crore in Q2 of FY 2021-22. Deposits of HDFC Bank increased to Rs 1673407.98 crore in Quarter 2 of FY 2022-23 as compared to Rs 1406343.30 crore in Quarter 2 of FY 2021-22.
The Gross NPAs (non-performing assets) of HDFC Bank stood at Rs 18301 crore in Q2 of FY 2022-23 as against Rs 16346.07 crore in Quarter 2 of FY 2021-22. The Net NPAs (non-performing assets) of HDFC Bank stood at Rs 4882.67 crore in Q2 of FY 2022-23 as against Rs 4755.09 crore in Quarter 2 of FY 2021-22.
