Date of birth change in Aadhaar card – Step by Step
To change the date of birth on your Aadhaar card, you have to visit this new portal. ( https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in )
- Visit UIDAI new official portal.

- Click on Login.
In this, you will click on Login.
- Enter your Aadhaar card number.
You will enter your Aadhaar card number, fill the captcha. After that click on send OTP.
- Enter the OTP and log in.
An OTP will be sent to your mobile number (mobile number registered with Aadhaar card). You will enter the OTP and click on login.
- Click on “Update Aadhaar Online” to change the date of birth on your Aadhaar card.
A dashboard will appear on your screen, in which you can see your Aadhaar card by clicking on the profile. In this, you will also get to see the current date of birth.

You can update the name in your Aadhaar card 2 times while the date of birth can be updated only once. You will click on “Date of Birth” to update the date of birth.

After that click on “proceed to update Aadhaar”. - Select a new date of birth from the calendar.
You will see the current date of birth of your Aadhaar card. To update the new date of birth, you will select the new date of birth from the calendar.
Along with this, you have to upload a supporting document. To change the date of birth in your Aadhaar card, you can provide any one of these documents like birth certificate, mark sheet, PAN card, or passport.
You have to upload whatever document you want to choose. Then you will click on “view details & upload document”. After that “Continue to Upload”. - Upload a supporting document like birth certificate, mark sheet, PAN card, or passport.
You have to scan the document clearly or take a photo of it. After that select it and upload it. Your document will be uploaded after that click next.
- Confirm new date of birth and terms.
A dialog box will appear on your screen asking whether you want to update this new date of birth in your Aadhaar card. Click “OK” to confirm.
After reading, accept the terms and do next. - You have to pay Rs 50.
You have to pay Rs 50. So you will read and accept the terms and click on “make payment”.
You will be redirected to the payment gateway from where you can pay through your credit card, debit card, wallet, Paytm, or internet banking. - Download acknowledgment.
Once the payment is successful, an acknowledgment slip will be generated which you can download by clicking on “download acknowledgment”.
- Request to update date of birth in Aadhaar card will be submitted and you can check the status anytime.
After this click on “Go to Dashboard”. The request to update the date of birth in the Aadhaar card has been submitted You will scroll down to check the status anytime. In this, you will get to see the status of the request.
As soon as the verification is complete, the date of birth will be updated on your Aadhaar
card.
