The share price of Jubilant FoodWorks, which operates brands like Domino’s Pizza, Dunkin’, and Hong’s Kitchen in India, was trading lower by 12.24% at Rs.2479.80.

The company’s CEO (Chief executive officer) and Director Pratik Pota decided to resign from his position. The company said Pratik Pota will continue his position till Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

Pratik Pota’s resignation is quite surprising for the market as in June 2021, the company’s board appointed him as CEO for the next 3 years.

Jubilant Foodworks business was going through a tough phase from FY 13 to FY 17 but Pratik Pota after joining on 1st April 2017 introduced many technological and product base initiatives in the company as well as many new offers. There was a rise in the growth and performance of the company.

The company’s Domino’s Pizza franchise is spread across 298 cities with 1,380 restaurants. The company’s Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant operates 27 restaurants in 8 cities in India and Hong’s Kitchen now has 11 restaurants in 3 cities.
