SBI raises INR 10,000 crore through long-term infrastructure bonds at 7.49% coupon rate

Mumbai, September 25 (Meel Bijendra) – State Bank of India (SBI) has raised INR 10,000 crore through long-term infrastructure bonds at 7.49% coupon rate, and with this issue, SBI has a long-term bond outstanding of INR 39,718 crore.

State Bank of India became the third lender and seventh Indian company to cross the market capitalization of INR 5 trillion for the first time.

Indian multinational public sector lender SBI Bank will use the proceeds from the bonds to raise long-term resources to finance infrastructure and affordable housing segment.
