Tata Motors stock up 3%, Partnership in Jaguar and Nvidia to deliver automated driving systems

The share price of Indian Automobile giant Tata Motors had gone up almost 3% today. Tata Motors subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has signed a multi-year long-term strategic partnership with Nvidia, the world’s largest graphic and AI chips producer.

Nvidia said that from 2025 all Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles will be built on the Nvidia drive software-defined platform.

This step will accelerate the ongoing transaction towards Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) software-enabled electric car and autonomous driving.

Through this partnership, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) seeks to provide a next-gen automated driving system and AI-enabled services to its customers.

Tata Motors also indicated that they will launch up to 10 electric car models for the Indian domestic market in the next four to five years so that they can capture a bigger share in the EV market.
