Two-wheeler stocks fall, February 2022 sales numbers lower than expected

Today there is a decline in the stock prices of two-wheeler companies.

Today, the sales numbers of two-wheeler companies for the month of February 2022 were announced, which is less than expected.

The share price of Bajaj Auto is down 4.48% to Rs 3372.30,  Eicher Motors’ share price down 3.15% to Rs 2508.10,  Hero Motocorp down 4.30% to Rs 2426.30, and

TVS Motor down 3.18% to Rs 597.95 till market closing.

Hero Motocorp’s sales declined by 29% on a year-on-year basis and the same Royal Enfield sales also declined by almost 15%.

TVS Motors also saw a 5% drop in sales on a year-on-year basis.

TVS Motors said that their production and sales have been impacted due to semiconductor supply shortfalls and this situation is expected to improve in the coming months.

Crude oil prices are at their 7-year record high and have crossed more than $ 95.69 per barrel.
